Y'all did it again. Thank you!

So I was DX with chronic swimmers ear and told all I could do was treat with alcohol and vinegar. I read here about blocked Eustachian tubes and did some reading. So far I have been able to self treat with trying to pop my ears and swallowing. If I can not keep up I know the next step is to buy Otovent kit.

I am guessing what happened is due to my difficulty swallowing my Eustachian tubes did not drain properly and I ended up with glue ear. Might be tied into my not being able to take deep breaths.

I had minor pain in my teeth and attributed it to the facial pain. The facial pain is seldom an issue. However when I have Glue Ear my teeth ache a bit which is known to happen with ear issues.

Would not have figured it out without what others have written here.

Thank you.

I do not use the product rather I pop my ear when drinking water. Key is to have the water in my mouth and swallowing when popping my ears.

It did get worse as far as hearing went. Guessing it was the fluid in my Eustachian tube draining. The tooth pain subsided in the the first two days. This is not related to the Trigeminal neuralgia or what I call lightning pain throughout my body both of which are all but gone with my self supplementation. Caused by my neurological l system healing.

I did get relief from massaging my gums with a tooth brush.

Otovent saved me from needing the two hearing aids offered to me because my hearing was so bad. Did the consultant point me in the direction of Orovent? Correct! I found it for myself. And then discovered that it was recommended by NICE as first line treatment. When I returned to the clinic for my follow up, miraculously no longer in need of two hearing aids, nobody asked me how I'd done it.

I am fairly certain that if I scheduled a 'visit' in New Hampshire with a doctor and could now tell them that I am experiencing fluid build up in my Eustachian tube a tube would be inserted in my ear. No Otovent kit would be mentioned.

I ordered a Otovent kit in case my glue ear did not resolve itself with my current popping of my ears. When it was delivered I decided to learn how to use it. So that is what really popping my ears feels like? 🙂

Yeah, they'd threatened me with the tubes too. That's what sent me off researching alternatives.

It's a great feeling!

I was laying down and heard this humming in my ear and then thought wonderful no I will have to deal with this humming. Then the refrigerator kicked off. I could not hear it before. 😀

I was watching a Big Bang Theory clip and I can now understand one of the women on the show which I could not before.😀
