I have recently found myself on a short fuse can I blame Ataxia for this.? In the past , I would do anything to avoid an argument.

I have a very mild temperament but on occasions I can suddenly burst into angry episodes. I have a Cerebellar Ataxia with Cerebellar Cognitive Affective Syndrome, (CCAS) attached to the condition. This affects thinking and emotions so this explains my own personal moods.

Yes my Beth has had low mood/ short fuse in recent years and on her last Consultant visit we discussed it as part of her cerebellum degeneration. I've actually got an appointment with GP about it next week and think we will be referred.

Yes. As your cerebellum controls your emotions, the more damage it receives, the more you can't control it.
