Well, that was short-lived.

I do so hope that others trying to shop online at Sainsburys have not had to same experience. Last week I was a happy bunny. I had been notified that I was now a PRIORITY customer. This week I am not. What's changed, did the Ataxia go away? Am I now 21 again? I have left numerous messages - I just live in hope.

I wrote to their head office because of ongoing problems with booking a slot.

I enclosed a copy of my ataxia card and my blue badge. I also mentioned that my husband(age 75) is my carer.

I have now received an e.mail from them confirming that I am listed as a vulnerable customer.

No problems since but I have read that Sainsbury's have upset a lot of people.

Good luck with resolving the problem.

Good for you and I am pretty sure that it was down to my GP as to why I got a slot at all, but you must also get all the CEO's useless emails too?

I dont see it so much as telling a lie as using the list as a guide to what is considered very vulnerable. My husband just declared us very vulnerable and that seemed to work. Each week I get my order and then then that days slots become available for following week. I just had an order delivered [Sainsburys] but it still shows as existing order on their website so I shall have to keep refreshing the page till next week appears. very disappointed there are no eggs or honey for us this week.

Here is the link gov.uk/coronavirus-extremel...

You have to have received the letter from the NHS or think that you full into the extremely vulnerable category but have not been notified.

They have actually changed the days so do not worry yet, I thought the same as for two weeks I had a slot that opened on a Tuesday and this week it was Wednesday and very late on the Wednesday to deliver yesterday, Friday. It is a bit like playing the lottery but on the up side most supermarkets are lifting the ban on certain items so it is easier if you have someone that can pick up things for you.

But please complain away as when this is ever over I doubt I will shop with Sainsbury again!

I have no idea where anyone lives on this site, but if you happen to be anywhere near the SE18 post code I have it good authority that Morrisons are pretty well stocked and if you have someone that is willing to queue for about half an hour then you will get everything that you want. If only I could walk and drive I would be there!!!!

I was notified by S that I was a priority customer, and after a phone call to their care line, got a slot for next Tuesday. In about 2 or 3 weeks, plan is to shop online again. Fingers crossed. Peter K

I cannot get any shopping either. When I go online it says I am in a queue, then still no slots.

Tried to get a slot with them, but not taking any new members atm,I am a Delivery Saver with Tesco, but that dosent mean anything.

I'm not priorty even though I'm in a wheelchair & have got F/A,have managed to get 2 slots for week after next & week after that, but it means staying up late.
