Electronic front door

I want to install an automatic front door to my maisonette, which I own. I don't know if I need a completely new front door or an electric opening system fitted to my existing front door. Can anyone recommend a firm that does this?

I don't really have any business recommendation because I think it depends where you live in the country so it might be worth looking on Checkatrade. However mine was fitted on my existing door. I think it might depend on how heavy the door is?!

do a thorough research, i get you as looked myself my landlord is social AND CANNOT AFFORD IT and thank god i am using quite cheap extention for arthritic bones still, but later on will look again, as a flat owner compare prices.

It depends on what type of electronic lock you are going to install. On the market can be found high-tech locks that require doors with specific functions. Cheaper electronic locks that can be found on eBay, Amazon, or Home Depot are easier to install and the type of the door plays no role.
