Hi, my first post on here. A couple years ago I had disseminated facial/eye shingles (both sides) with meningitis. a couple weeks (?) after hospital discharge I started having myoclonic jerks and mild ataxia. It is still there, but mostly It is noticeable after physical activity or I am tired. Is this common?

Hi Welcome 🙂 It’s possible you have an Acquired Ataxia (if you haven’t already been diagnosed), sometimes this resolves itself when the cause is found and treated. Your Neurologist is the best person to advise you.

It’s quite common for activity and fatigue to ‘trigger’ symptoms..The best course of action is to rest when this happens 🙂
