Does anyone have a WAV?

Hi Everyone,

It’s time to change my motability car in June.

I have a Jeep which has been fantastic. But now I can’t walk anymore so I need a vehicle that I can drive my wheelchair into.

Any ideas?

Thanks Everyone 😊

Hi Grapes.

I use an electric powerchair and have often thought about getting a WAV, but at the moment I can still walk from rear of car to front passenger door, still use a hoist in boot, for my wife to load powerchair....... but I guess a WAV will be something to look at in the future, assuming my wife is still driving, I dont drive anymore!

If you want a mobility car with nil or little advance payment, a citroen has a nice boot space, but you would lose the rear passenger seats, but if you have loads of dosh, and want a bit more comfort, go for something like a Ford Galaxy!

Thank you. Yep sadly I can't walk at all anymore :( I am hoping that once I have a PA they can drive for me; as I only manage short distances now.

Hopefully soon I will be getting a power chair that will make my life easier. I don't want anything to big either. But will start searching now.

Go to your search box, type in ..... Cars on motability images..... then you get photos of relevant cars.... gives you an idea?
