General Weakness in body and hands.

I am feeling weakness in my hands. Sometimes unable to type the right keys on phone's keypad.Feeling low and not very active.

I’ve noticed that my hands are getting weaker

Sometimes I can’t even turn the pages of a book and if I do too much they ache terribly

Buttons and laces are a buggar!!!

Buttons can be a real pain🤨 and I gave up on laces years ago. I use a stylus with my iPad and even that that can be unreliable because my fingers are inclined to have a will of their own 😉 I still like to read books, although I also have a Kindle 🙂 But I understand the frustration when turning pages, even with the Kindle. You’d think turning a page would be a simple matter of lightly touching the screen but often I’m hamfisted and anything could appear🤭 xB

I have this too. I have an autoimmune disease called Sjögren’s as well Hashimoto’s. The neurologist has recently added mild Ataxia to the menu. I don’t know which is causing the increasing weakness right through my arms into all of my fingertips but it also affects the rest of my body making weight bearing an increasing problem too. I rest my right wrist in a special hard resting splint overnight and an OT is going to make one for my left arm soon. This appears to help but so do very soft pillows a little.
