For people who have been to previous conferences, is it worth getting a ticket? I will be traveling down from Fife in Scotland - a journey which isn't easy!

Dear pukkaone

I have been to numerous conferences. I always feel like I am wearing two hats, as the Chairman of Ataxia UK and as someone with ataxia. I went to quite a few conferences before I became a Trustee/Chairman. I find it so special (and liberating) to be in a room where ataxia is the norm and I never have to explain myself. I always have great fun and learn something new every time I go. So in a word, yes! It is worth getting a ticket.

If you decide to go I look forward to meeting you!

Best wishes

Harriet
