My co-ordination is terrible and, my brain can't manage anything quickly. Does anyone know anything about para canoeing. Oh yes, I left out the most important bit - I'm in a wheelchair

Love horseriding. I'm no good at it, it's scary and I am getting too old at 51. The combination of special people and special horses, make anything possible. And, the phyysio. Dickin (in the picture), is not especially wide(for his height, 15.2) but I've had a few goes on a wider one.

Have no idea where u r but my husband found a farm in northeast PA which is owned by a seasoned horse woman and her husband; and run by the woman and her women pals. None of these women are young. They work with all;, regular, physically impaired , kids and the fearful.

There are some 60 horses, the vast majority are calm and relaxed.

Unfortunately, I'm very near London, England. I do attend a dedicated disabled stable in Welwyn. I think, there is a similar organisation in the US called PATH. What's New York like? It always seems busy on tv.

Has the stable/riding helped you???

The city can indeed be very crowded (specially when the prez or his wife comes) but I avoid the crowds and stay in large part on the Upper West Side, a residential area. I never heard of PATH except the train franchise as in the PATH trains. I think they go from the city to Westchester or New Jersey and reverse.

As i say, enjoy doing it. It's impossible to say what improvements there have been because I don't know what I'd be like (physically) if I didn't do it. I do know, however, that I should do more of it on a wide horse. It was a long time ago that I heard the name but, it sounded right.
