I've not as yet heard of any. I do have to take it slowly when I first awaken in the morning's as it takes a little while for my eyes to focus and become one with my brain.

I also have trouble sometimes during the day when my vison will go out of focus for a few minutes - which can be annoying when watching TV.

It's down to my SCA6.

Hi Ted :-)

I hope you enjoyed good weather over the Bank Holiday weekend :-)

I've been seeing a Vestibular Therapist, she's given me eye exercises

to hopefully help with vision, balance and co-ordination.

Basically, it's focussing exercises, near and distant.

I can't say specifically that they've helped because I recently had an

operation to correct a squint, and that has made the biggest improvement

to reduce double vision. :-) xBeryl

Many thanks Beryl & john. Always very re-assuring

I have never been told what type of Ataxia I have got but I am

Quite able to fall over without help!!! And also sight is not too bad at the moment. Look after yourselves. Ted
