Sincere apologies for my lack of knowledge here, hopefully someone will help you soon.
Take care.
Hi, I 'googled' the condition, information can be found at
patient.co.uk/doctor/Pneumo...
I hope this is of help. Take care, Richard.
I also have Pneumonitis after thirty years as a Stone Mason ,dust gathering in my lungs over time has left them scared and unable for oxygen to get into the bloodstream therefore i can only walk for limited periodes,i have been told there is no cure for this lung disease except for a lung transplant which will never happen as my Docs have told me but hell we all have to die of something .sorry i'm not having a good day
I FEEL FOR YOU MATE, IT MUST BE VERY HARD ON YOU BUT YOU HAVE THE SPIRIT, AND I HOPE THAT SOMEHOW LIFE IMPROVES FOR YOU.
I'LL BE BRIEF AS POSS.
MY C.V. LUNG CANCER. REMOVE TWO TUMOURS AND TWO THIRDS OF RIGHT LUNG (2010). CONTINUAL BREATHLESSNESS AND GETTING WORSE. YEAR LATER NEW TUMOUR ON REMAINING RIGHT LUNG LOBE. OPERATION TOO DANGEROUS ADVISED STEREO TACTIC HIGH DOSE RADIOTHERAPY ( 2/3 YEARS NHS AVAILABILITY). TREATED FEB. 2012 CAUSES INFLAMMATION AND LEADS TO PNEUMONITIS. BREATHING GETS WORSE AGAIN. ITS A MIRACLE MAY 2012 THE TUMOUR HAS GONE BUT BREATHING STILL BAD. NOW CAUSED PARTLY BY 100MG PREDNISOLONE DAILY. TODAY DOWN TO 25MG AND FEELING FINE AS CONSULTANT SAYS THINGS WILL PROBABLY GET A BIT BETTER.
IF ONLY WE COULD SPARE A BREATH FOR EACH OTHER WOULDN'T LIFE BE SO MUCH BETTER.
LUNGHO
