Thank you Dottie, people are talented in diferent ways. I started painting 29 years ago, but a fair break when Victoria was born and long hours at work, was 2020 0r 21 when I picked up a brush again, xx

Nice to see a windmill in one of your paintings, especially in such a bright landscape, with those lovely flowers and the blue hills obligingly forming a gap to make the mill stand out. The mill is a tower mill and the sails would have cloths spread on them when they were working.

We went to a tulip festival at Tulley's Farm near Gatwick this year and your painting brought back memories of a lovely day out. Tulley's is a garden centre which has diversified and now puts on huge special events - it's Halloween now, of course.I love your painting, Ern. It's bright and vibrant. Just what we need on this horrible, dark, wet morning.

Thank you Moy B - Yes we have a similar garden centre. about 5 miles away are total halloween. Early in year we go to a couple of flowers shows, quite good and quite expensive.I try and paint bright because weather is grim. I will be painting some halloween. I like doing them also, for a bit of fun. xx

Painting IS fun, isn't it? It's easy to lose myself in it, but just at the moment I don't seem to have the ability to concentrate for long - too much going on - and so I've put mine to one side for now.

Painting is fun - It helped me, I had to stop over 25 years ago as a watercolour artist, Anne got me started again in 2021 with pastels, they were messy so I tried acrylics. glad I did. I hope you are able to start again at some stage.

Yes be starting on Halloween soon. I think I did three last year xx
