An Impression of a Tropical Sunset.

Before I post this ---

I painted Genesis 1 a while ago on a biggish canvas. Looking at the painting it could be better so I am trying to make it viewable.

From the back Adam and Eve are as nature intended - Anyone rather they where covered with a fig leaf as I don't wish to cause any offence.

So I was going to post another Halloween is tame, named The Graveyard Gate - Nice enough painting but could be more spooky.

So I am posting An Impression of a Tropical Sunset.

Thank you - I did Genesis 1 an age ago, it needed restoring, on a large canvas, I am doing a Dracula's Castle for on Halloween a good time to paint. xx

I love your use of colour Ern and I could certainly do with being on one of those tropical islands right now, it’s blooming cold 🥶 and my joints are complaining ! I’ll have to bask in the glow of your tropical sunset instead😊

No worries about fig leaves, I’m old enough to have seen it all😀

On a serious note, I hope those spasms you were getting post-op have settled down now x

I was in the Tropics once- for about 3 hours, when we visited the temples at Aswan, which are just inside the Tropic of Cancer. There was a lot of sand, but the sky was not the glorious colour yours is. Look forward to the Garden of Eden. xxx

Thank you. The Garden of Eden was one of my first with Acrylic paints, and to be honest it showed - I was going to paint another but, I liked this lay out so getting reconstructed,xxx

I went most placed on the Med, but never Egypt.

Got near with Turkey, a fabulous place. Not as hot as Aswan but got to 45C one day,

I think I would have fainted at 45 degrees. Never got to Turkey and am unlikely to now sadly. What next? Eden or Halloween? xxx

Not sure yet, Eden is not finished and I have to go GP this afternoon. Turkey was really nice and so where the people,. I could stand dry heat of Turkey, but not the humid clammy Corfu I faced. I think Aswan can get even hotter than Turkey at certain times.. Halloween soon, xx
