I have asthma, currently under control with Fostair, mainly caused by hay fever. I saw the ENT consultant earlier today and he prescribed me Budesonide to go in a NeilMed sinus rinse bottle to try and get control of my hay fever symptoms and reduce some of the inflammation… however I’ve tried several of my local pharmacies and they don’t do them and can’t order them, I just wondered if anyone else was on this regime and how they got hold of the Budesonide? Thank you!
I use a steroid nose spray.i just use cooled boiled water to rinse sinuses but often use sterimar (salt) rinse, which is easier and does help.If u use budesonide or other nose spray, whn u insert and spray it,don't sniff too hard- u want it to work in yr nose.id rinse sinuses thn use steroid spray.ru taking antihistamines x
I’m on Fexofenadine 180mg and Dymista steroid and antihistamine nasal spray. I have been using the stermiar sinus rinse too but it’s not enough to get on top of my symptoms and nasal congestion and inflammation so he prescribed the Budesonide. I have also just started taking Gaviscon too as the ENT consult thinks I’ve got silent reflux as well..
Whn I'm bad,and pollens etc r high( now!) I also take otc loratidine.the cooled kettle water as sinus wash is gd and gives immediate, tho temporary, relief. u can buy satchets for netti,if u prefer.i have to change nose spray from eg from generic flixonase to budesonide or vice versa.
