Tobramycin Inhalation

I'm on the 28 days on 28 days off "Toby" and inhale once a day . (Twice a day was too much for me.) I use a numbing throat spray to make the inhale sessions tolerable. The spasm coughing associated with the treatment is bad. Are others experiencing this also? Any treatments other than Toby?

I could not tolerate tobramycin because it caused my lungs to spasm. It is also possible to nebulise ceftazidime, colamycin or meropenem. You might tolerate one of these better.

Welcome to the forum Pentwater.would it help to perhaps use salbutamol neb to relax snd dilate Airways before yr tobramycin? X
