Can't help with doses but

Vitamin D. Many people with COPD have low vitamin D. ...

Vitamin C. Low levels of vitamin C are linked to increases in shortness of breath, mucus, and wheezing.

Vitamin E. ...

Vitamin A.

A doctor advised me to take vitamin C. I also take vit D and probiotics (for my gut, not my lungs). I don't think there are any specific vitamins for lungs unfortunately.

I take cod liver oil, rosehip syrup and a lot of fruit, as I prefer to take vitamins in a more natural form. When I need extra support I take Floradix, brewers yeast tablets and dolomite tablets, depending on what is required.

There is no specific dose of vitamins to take for your lungs and depends ion how you feel or what you are short of. At this time of year most of us are short of vit d due to lack of sunshine. I take vit d3 everyday along with vit c zinc. I have quite a good balanced diet and eat a lot of fruit and veg. After illness I take a good tonic to put me back on my feet. I have rheumatoid arthritis and take Methotrexate which lowers immunity so have to be careful not to pick up colds and the like hence the reason for the daily vitc zinc. Hope this helps x

If you eat plenty of green vegetables i.e. broccoli ,sprouts, cabbage etc and maintain a healthy balanced diet you shouldn't need substitutes. I do take Vit D 800 iU as I don't go out in the sunshine much. Usually in the car. Prescribed by my GP. One daily. Xx.Sheila
