I take rose hip syrup. A research project showed that drinking rose hip tea regularly cut down on infections, but I didn't like the taste, so I started taking what we used to be given at school many years ago.

Hi Caz

Sorry to hear your news-you sound very positive in spite if everything-good for you. I find the same-being abroad for annual holidays im so much better ( i love Crete) and feel crap in the English dampness.

We are starting to plan our retirement in two and half years and this will include some time or gap year living abroad.

I live in Thames valley which is the worst for chest complaints!

I feel its important to sort our own health issues out but its hard when you have family living here isnt it?

I eat a healthy diet with lots of fruit n veg-recently Panorama showed a investigative piece on vitamins and the conclusion was you can get all vitamins from a healthy balanced diet unless you are deficient.

Just thought i would mention it!

Love Jan x

Most of us with lung problems are deficient if though we might have a good diet , the meds strip most of it away

If I understand correctly, autumn and winter in England are usually under overcast sky's, with little sun. That being the case, vitamin D3 deficiencies there would be common. So, you would be wise to have your D levels checked. Doctors here will often write for D2, not themselves knowing the difference. D2 takes much longer to absorb into one's system. Taken with Vit-D3, K2-M7 helps with calcium absorption...
