I’ve been using Trimbow for about 6 months now and it’s changed my life, however, I get horrible dry mouth and oral thrush side effects.
Maybe I’m imagining it, but I’ve noticed that it gets much worse towards the end of the inhaler and clears up a bit once I start a new one.? Anyone else?
I always rinse and/or brush my teeth/ chew gum, use nystatin.

Oral thrush is one of the side effects of Trimbow reported on the information sheet. I've also found that NSaids (eg Ibraprufen), and an inclusion in toothpaste, Sodium Lauryl Sulphte (SLS), can cause one to get mouth ulcers, particularly if you are susceptible. Antibiotics can also cause oral thrush, as they kill the good guy bacteria as well as the bad.
I use Fostairs inhaler (2 puffs twice a day). I have a really dry mouth, especially at night when I wake with a totally dried out mouth every 2 hours (all night, every night). Maybe it's the steroid in them? Hope you get some answers and with your thrush 🤞🤞. Take care xxx
I think you're definitely right I find when coming to end off inhaler my chest isn't so good I also find starting a new one the same but after a few times all good to be honest I never have mentioned it cause I though it was me dry mouth and thrush aswell I do everything I can I got nystatin its plagues me night after night blooming awfull
No difference for me - fortunately. I'd add to Pauline's reply to cut ot sugar for a while - it feeds the fungal - you get used to it. Plus, add live yogurt to your diet
