Biologics!

Hi all, had a F2F appt this morning with my rheumatologist. I’m going to start on biologics as lefluonomide is just not working anymore.

Any hints or tips on what to expect?

Feeling hopeful 😊

Hi Sihoney, some of us on this site have lung problems along with rheumatoid arthritis so you could get a few replies. I am not on biologics at the moment but wish you well and hope they work for you x

Hi Sjhoney. I’m on biologics for severe asthma. I was close to giving up as I could hardly move, but within six weeks the biologics transformed my life. I still have other lung problems, but the asthma is now well controlled. Truly amazing. Also, a friend is on them for RA & can now move easily without pain & no longer has flare-ups. To my mind, they really are miracle drugs. I’m sure you’ll do well and it would be lovely to hear back from you. I wish you joy! X
