I exchanged today at long last, moving on 13th August, will have to wait 12 weeks to be connected to either sky or virgin, not sure which one yet, so will only be on the site when I am round my daughters.
I'm sure you will all miss me, lol
I will have loads of reading to catch up on when I do get back on line full time.
Messages to me will be read and replied to only on a weekly basis, don't want to out stay my welcome with daughter and son in law, lol
Thanks Silkx, I've lead a very sheltered life, been in this house for 30 years, lol your moves sound exciting, but most probably nice to settle in one place now.
That's great news Peta, we will have three months to talk about you. Terrific! I hope you have a good move and remember it is all down to good planning i.e. keep the coffee and the toilet paper at the top of the pile at all times. I'm sure we will see you before you go but if not, the best of luck to you.
Good luck with your move Peta, hope it's not too stressful for you. 30 years in one place is quite an achievement, all those memories....... and new ones to make ....
Also good luck with Sky, my daughter & partner had to wait 3 months for them to get their act in order with a simple move of 15 miles to Amersham. She had to work from a cafe a mile away every day!
Stay nice & calm. How far are you going? I forget xxxx P
Thanks peeg, how far am I going, lol about 3 roads away, but its smaller than I have now, so less housework, less bills and most important NO STAIRS.................
Good luck with house move Peta. Sounds like a great move as still in same area and no stairs. Bonus!!! Make sure everyone else does all the lifting. Take care xx
Ah you finally did the exchange - did that solicitor give you a proper apology? She should have knocked some money off your bill for the stress she caused you. Nice to have a date at last, not long now, happy packing.
Anna xx
