Hi Gang hope you are all keeping safe and well. Thought I'd let you know how it went today after the big upset of yesterday. Again many thanks for all your support and good wishes it means a lot. Spoke to one of the registrars at Papworth, went through blood results which GP surgery had actually emailed to me. He was pleased with the results, said to go ahead with new meds and continue bloods every 2 weeks.
Spoke about several things, mainly anxiety affecting breathing, also the episode yesterday with the receptionist. He said I am to phone hospital straight away if it happens again and they will contact the GP direct, a lovely young man who sounded very understanding. Said I could phone them when I need to which has made me feel loads better.
Hugs to you all
Penny

Thank heavens for that decent young medic. So glad you've got the hospital's support to deal with your surgery. A nice start to the day to read your good news. Hugs and best wishes, Chris. xxx
So pleased for you. I haven’t really had the time to get on the forum recently but I did pick up on your nightmare with the GP receptionist. What a huge relief to be dealt with by a proper, caring human being. It makes such a difference doesn’t it?
What a good consult you had Penny, so pleased for you. It must be a load off too to be told that you can ring Papworth any time you need to now. Love & best wishes, Carole xx
Hi Penny that's great news and what a lovely young consultant why can't they all be that nice and understanding. Keep us updated on how you are, have a lovely day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx
Sounding good now Penny. 🙂x
That's good to hear kimlu. Your most important relationship is with the doctors at the hospital who were obviously less than impressed with the behaviour of your GP surgery. Do make them your first port of call if you have any more trouble. GPs and their minions have to do as consultants tell them and don't like to think that they know that they are failing in this. I hope that things get better from now on.
Your dreadful experience with the receptionist is an example of what many of us have to endure. It was so heartening to read your latest post about your telephone call with your lovely young consultant and your confidence will now be soaring. Keep us posted as to how you are and how things progress. Hoping all goes well for you from now on. Chrys x
Really pleased to hear that you have found support and understanding from the consultant. You must be feeling so much more confident with your on going care now xxx Best Wishes 😊
