Good afternoon everyone, does anyone have any daily hacks for stopping there nose constantly running while on oxygen through their nasal canular? I have tried antihistamines but get no rest bite from them. I understand oxygen can makes your nasal cavities very sensitive. I have spoken to my GP and my oxygen Team and all they suggested was antihistamines, I use benedryl but get no results. If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

Kind regards

Joe x

I have very recently been prescribed 'Rinatec' nasal spray solution(ipratropium-bromide) by my ENT consultant for the very same complaint, initialy it makes my nose run for fun on application but then the nasal cavities dry up after a while and seems to help with the problem though not completely relieveing it.Your Gp should be able to prescribe it.

Best wishes Ski's and Scruff's
