Oxygen Nasal Cannular and KY Jelly

Good afternoon everyone, Due to being on Oxygen 24/7 between 4-6 lpm, my nose gets very dry and sore and at times I need to use Naseptin Nasal Cream which I was prescribed by my COPD Nurse.

Am I also ok using KY Jelly to keep my nostrils moist? Or is this classed as being flammable?

Kind regards as always

KY jelly is fine Joseph as it’s not Petroleum based. Hope it helps you xxx👍

Hiya, agree with Sassy ☺️ yes KY is perfect and will help. Yes dry nose is extremely painful after a bit, mine was sometimes bleeding. I also heard that you can get a mask made by Oxymask, it should help with the nose. Best wishes 🌺🌺🌺

Thanks for asking that question, as I too have the same problem, also get blood in my nose. Will get some Ky jelly if that helps moistures the lining of the nose . Thanks again.

Sesame oil also prevents/cures nostril bleeding caused by cannula usage for oxygen,
