8 weeks post op LVRS

So here I am, 8 weeks after my left lvrs. Starting to really feel the benefit now. Can't lie, the surgery was pretty unpleasant and I did wonder why I'd bothered as I felt pretty ill and indeed felt worse than before. But gradually things got easier and then in the past few days in particular, I actually feel better than I have in years. Amazing. Thankyou to all you lovely people on here for your support throughout this whole process. You've been great. And to any people out there who have been lucky enough to be offered this surgery - go for it. Also thanks to Papworth hospital. 😁😁😁

I'm so pleased for you, I'm waiting to hear about one, but due to this virus I don't mind waiting a longer there are others who are going to need help. Hope you continue to improve, have a lovely weekend and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx

Brilliant news, really pleased for you. So lucky to have had it offered. Not all of us get the chance, with being unsuitable.

That is great news. I hope and pray the improvements continue. It will be interesting to see what the results of your next PFT or spirometry will be in comparison to the last one before the operation.
