I totally agree. Iโm Mikes carer - he has dementia - and at risk if I catch Covid again. Last time I caught it I was really ill and it affected my lungs significantly.
I canโt believe they donโt automatically give the booster to carers and find it so short sighted not to. I hope you donโt get covid again. Iโm still coughing and have two days of Doxy left. Not great. Xxx
I am on MrB's team!!! Keep spirits up and and heal soon. Thanks so much for posting your recovery and I look forward to hearing from you again soon xxx JJ_7
Oh Mr Bo well done for getting through the op. Be kind to yourself, healing takes time.
On a lighter note, your name always reminds me of my youth club days. My mind is still 17 but my wrinkles tell me Iโm 73. Lucky to still be here and enjoying life as best I can.
Hello there. I am glad you are home now and are working on your physical strength. The pain is a bummer but it lessens over time. You've come this far and through so much , it's a tough road especially the first year. Make sure to drink enough water to help your kidneys cope with the medication. The kidneys really do take a hit. The liver does too but at least it regenerates itself but the kidneys do not. Take care of yourself, eat right and avoid alcohol because it messes with our Prograf blood levels. Importantly, keep moving. So pleased you are home again.๐
Mr Bojangles " He jumped so high, he clicked his heels". Maybe master the stairs first! It's lovely to hear from you. Sending best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Great to b home again Mrbojangles, wishing u a speedy recovery, first things first, enjoy your Guinness ๐คฃ๐ after which u can learn to touch your toes again ๐คฃ๐๐ฅฐ๐น๐น Bernardine
Thank you for letting us know how you are progressing. Really glad to hear that you are home and on the road to recovery. I hope the pain lessens soon and you feel more relaxed and can enjoy your new pair of lungs. All the very best.
Wow! What a ride , Mr.B. I hope the pain lessens soon and that the biopsy shows all is going well. I'm sure you're doing everything to speed recovery, but it's tough about the Guinness. Bless your donor and their family, and very best wishes to you and Mrs. Bojangles. xxx
Best wishes for a good and speedy recovery! Speedy is relative, of course - start with just one glass at a time!I admire your fortitude and your humour.
Bless you. It gets easier over time, though you have had it quite rough. See you got the clam shell cut, hope you heal quickly and best wishes for your future journey.
Great to hear your update, Mr Bo. Keep on keeping on. It's a drag learning to walk again, but so worthwhile - I've had to do it three times. Hope the chest pain when you reach starts to fade away soon.
Well done chook. Bet you are so glad to be home. Your still here that's the main thing. Baby steps now. Little by little you will get stronger and stronger. I'm so glad for you. Good luck chook!!!
Wow... What a huge adventure. Well done you for coping and posting about it. It does seem to be going in the right direction but be gentle with yourself, give it plenty of time and rest.
Excellent that you are home. It is a proven fact that even fit footballers start to loose muscle power and bulk in their legs when on total bed rest for 24 hrs so it's not surprising your legs are weak. I had problems when I'd been in hospital for 10 days (and been poorly for 4 days beforehand) with the dreaded virus in 2020!
Baby steps each day will get better for you I hope.i hope you get the full benefit from your surgery and life is good again.full of all that you wish for.x
Best wishes for a full recovery Mr Bojangles, having been through a upper right lobectomy in 2009 I can appreciate the discomfort you are currently experiencing although your operation would have been more arduous than mine.Look after yourself, take one day at a time
Nice scar. Glad you're home. I'm sure you will follow all the doctors instructions to the letter. Hope you have enough support at home to help with your recovery. Strengthen those legs on the stairs. Mantra whilst doing it is I will get stronger with every step. Now comes the regular clinic checks which become part of life and very important. Make a note of everything you experience between clinic visits for example side effects of medication, appetite, any difficulties with breathing etc. You will become an expert on your condition. Good luck, stay positive and keep smiling.Linda xx
