Trimbow side effects

Morning everyone 😊 I started trimbow for copd on 11th June and so far I have had good days which is more than I had with duaklir. For the last 5 days my legs have been aching with chills. Chills only now and again. Does anybody who is on this have these side effects weeks after starting it. Also my breathing hasn't been that good either. Or could I be looking at a virus 🤔

To me it sounds like you have a virus and nothing to do with Trimbow. I have been on Trimbow since last August and my breathing improved with no side effects. I think you usually get the side effects pretty quickly and you've been on Trimbow for a few weeks now. Perhaps ask your gp. Hope you feel better soon

I've been on Trimbow for almost a year now... my asthma is so much improved. I had no side effects at all.

I've been on Trimbow a few years I have now been put on the stronger Trimbow now but never had any side affects so I'd say you've got some kind of virus .

I was changed to trimbow about eight weeks ago and my breathing as much improved. Personally I would discuss this with your GP as chills and flu like symptoms can be uncommon side effects.

Hi, just wondering how long were you on trimbow before getting side effects, I have been taking it since 11th June and had first symptoms the 1st of July but my nurse said it will take a month maybe 2 for the full effects of it to work

Thanks for that, seeing doctor tomorrow. Much appreciated 🙂

Hi, it was a similar time scale to you, it started with tingling and palpitations then my breathing was really compromised, I would speak to your doctor don’t suffer in silence.

Thanks for answering, he said could be viral and to try and persevere with it. Also gave me a prescription for my old medication just in case I want to change back again. X

that’s good news, I think if in a week your not feeling any better it’s probably the Trimbow, hope that you’re feeling better soon.

I have been on Trimbow for a very long time and wouldn’t be without it

It’s by far the best one I have had

No side effects ever but we are all different

Best to ask your go or respiratory team they will know if the side effects are possible

Having said that I am starting to feel thst maybe my dose should be higher as since I had respiratory failure pneumonia and COVID after 7 8 hrs I feel

That I need to take it again I am short of breath now the majority of time so possible a higher does might help or have I got long covid?
