Hanging around 92 FEV1. I waited 3 years. Had one offer and it has been successful. It hasn't been easy, but I would do it again.

Hi orlanw, I just want to say thank you for sharing your story I really appreciate you explaining what has happened, I am nothing, if not a planner, I try to allow for all eventualities!
I have always been keen on hearing from anyone who has had a transplant, you are proof transplants can work long term! Getting people to open up about long term goals is hard! WE ALL WANT TO LIVE, but, if people know the "recipe" please tell us! Don't wait until we find out the hard way. At least if I have a few choices, I can make an adult choice, as to what to do!
Hi well done. I bet it was amazing to be able to breathe again and to have a much more active life. There are a few on here who are waiting for lung transplants and this can only hearten them. x
That's really good to know, one of our members had a transplant very recently so this will be cheering news for her 👍
