With PIP it depends on how your illnesses affect you, which will affect the outcome. Did you explain how your new COPD diagnosis makes doing things more difficult?

They will probably contact your GP and consultant for confirmation. Which I had to do. You may have to go for interview. Mine was done at home. I have servere copd they were nice. Just make sure you have all paperwork needed list of medications etc and what you go through on a bad day. How much pain breathing etc. Do you have help etc.

You are lucky you get pip with only mild COPD I wouldn't push for higher as you could lose what you get. I know of people who can't get it worse than you

They might not do anything or might ask you to complete a review form. If you have to complete a review form, do not assume they know about your situation and make it as detailed as you can and send in evidence.

Like Lindakenno, I too was under the impression that asking for a review was risky because they could reassess and remove these benefits. I held back for some time because of this. Unless you have other issues which you have not mentioned, tread carefully.
