PIP application update

I posted on here about a month ago for advice regarding a PIP video assessment. My husband received a letter this morning informing him that he's able to receive PIP! The application process has taken 5 months from the initial phone call to receipt of first payment.

Worth the wait and payment should be backdated to the application date.

Good news that your husband is eligible but that is a ridiculous wait. We (my husband and I)are completing my form. We do one or two questions a day as having to focus on the negative drags me down and makes me realise how little I can do and how reliant I am on my husband. I'm sure that's how many people feel but I usually expand most of my energy on trying to be positive.
