Went to Physio yesterday was discharged as I now have an appointment at PMS or Pain management solutions in real words. It is in July. As anyone tried these community clinics for pain?, I ask because they seem to want a lot of details when attending more like hospital admission considering they are GP recommendations and supposedly work in conjunction with our GPS. Know some of my COPD freinds have arthritis like myself

So sorry not to have anything constructive re: PMS as I've not heard of it,out I'm the community before. I'm very interested what it all entails so hopefully you will enlighten us all once you have started your course.

Best wishes.

Think sassy as been to them with her husband.

Think only send ya as the can’t cook ya beans with pain killers so think the try them electric things.

As long as it’s not yoga 🧘‍♂️ might help with ya pain IF not this alway 🍷 or 🍺;)

Hi Katie, as Jeff says Pete did go to a pain management appointment but didn’t seem to get anywhere. I think they were scared of all his health issues. We’re actively seeking pain relief for his back pain.

I hope you get some relief soon. Take care xxxx

Our oldest son is being referred to one Katie . He has been in hospital and rehabilitation centre for over 4 months with having falls due to hip and back problems. Will be very interested in how you get on if .your appointment comes first , I will do the same if his should. Hope you get a lot of benefit from it.

Thanks Katie hope you feel an improvement 🍀🌻 xx

Hello Kate,

Hope the wait doesn’t seem too long..I have never been no although I’m keeping up with exercising and physio, I have to take a couple of paracetamol if I carried shopping or walked uphill. I am at Mum’s it is all up and down hill! Great for your joints! Also taking my reliever..Mum can’t even walk to town anymore. She walks in the corridors of the care home.

Let us know what they are offering and how you are getting on. Wishing you success and a break from endless pain 🌸xx

Oh that will be handy, they can help you with the fracture pain as well I hope. The shoulder is definitely awkward. Mum and Dad had collar bone fractures..

Take great care Kate xx

Hi Fran, hospital have given me a new sling , it is more comfortable but harder to get on and off. go back in a week for another xray to see if I need an operation or whether physio will be enough. Apparently the muscle over the shoulder is pulling the small break apart preventing it from healing fully. the bruising is getting blacker & blacker but physio told me to expect that. its painful and of course limits movement . now they are forecasting high temperatures to irritate my chest as well. Think I will stay indoors it is safer don't you think ??? Have a good day, oh can't bake now either., need some of your cyber cakes please. Love Kate xx
