I had a very bad breathlessness episode my CPR was 198 and given AV Tazocin after ciprofloxacin didn't work, I am feeling very nervous as have had to rely on oxygen and although at rest I can do without when I was on 4L, but moving around I must still have 6L, although was on 8L that's six weeks after leaving hospital, did a 6 minute walk test yesterday and no change on the 6L, I have COPD and bronchiectasis, I'm concerned that I won't be able to do without the oxygen, very scary as I have osteoporosis and fractures in my spine, I find it very difficult to carry or wheel the canistors around which stops me going out help!! is this it!!😪😪

Big virtual ((((hugs)))).

What does your respiratory team say? Have you been able to speak to a respiratory physio or occupational therapist about your problems?

I dont know enough about oxygen to advise anglie26 and wanted to wish you well. It maybe that you are still in a recovery stage. I would speak to your nurses and tell them your fears, i am sure they will put you at ease x
