Travel insurance
This question is asked frequently on here so i would advise doing a search on here for this subject.
There is a pinned post (top right on the main page) entitled Travel Insurance.
Hi Clyons, I have just posted about this. Both Stone & Mrsmummy point out the pinned posts re travel insurance. These are very helpful but if you look at my post today, I say why I got turned down. It may not be the same for you, I have known people on Oxygen get insurance but the Insureres have a scoring system & if you score too many points thay won't insure or they make it exorbitantly expensive. Good Luck x
It seems to be a minefield, but I see some lovely members have offered links. so good luck to you, and I hope you can resolve it and have a good holiday
I've used getgoinginsurance.co.uk/ last twice I travelled to Europe - paying c£30 for both of us in total (thirty pounds).
But I used the comparison site medicaltravelcompared.co.uk/ as listed in the pinned post to find the cheapest quote, which was getgoing both times. Now the problem is insurers tend to specialise by affliction and/or by destination. So they may not be the cheapest for your afflictions, and they may not be the cheapest for outside Europe.. so you'll have to do some legwork to find the best I'm afraid. Best wishes.
Hi, I've managed to get a quote of £146 for myself, husband and 8 year old daughter from insurancewith.com I'd previously been quoted £850 just for myself from other sites. I'm going to the Dominican Republic next year. Good luck x
