Try Southdowns Travel Insurance . We've always found them very good on price. 😊
I've found Insurancewith very helpful and reasonable for trips to Europe x
Hi
Just received e-mail may be of interest, reconditioned Imogen G3 4lpm £1000
Plus others.
Hi Sam, I've just looked at Stone's link. If you decide to go down the buying your own portable route, I can recommend the AirSep Freestyle Portable Oxygen Concentrator. I've been using these for 9 years now (different ones - they are not everlasting!) and I'm very happy with them. I don't know how they compare to any other types of portable, but the reconditioned prices quoted seem very reasonable.
I've been insured through Worldwide Travel (I think that's the name) who were found for me by the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) who are mentioned in the above link.
Good luck with your search, Jan
Hi and thankyou to Stone
How long of a life has a Air Step FreeStyle. Also are they generally accepted on aircraft have you used it for EU trips I have the Inogen One G3 NHS and it's the best set up yet I've had from them better than trailing a shopping cart behind me but I still find it heavy must be 10lbs I've saved today for phone calls searching for stuff before I give up on Spain I was quoted €559 from Worldwide oxygen a company in Spain sent me a picture it was a big portable on a cart, no thank you Sam
Hi
If it weighs 10lbs must be a G2 the G3 only weighs 2.2kg about 5lbs.
Hi Sam, I'm very sorry I've only just seen your question. If it's not too late - in the 9 years I've been using the Air Sep Freestyle I've had 3 machines. The first was new and I think it lasted over 4 years before we had any problems. My next 2 were reconditioned machines.
You can find lots of info about the Freestyle online, but briefly - it runs for about 3.5 hours on 1 litre, 2.5 hours on 2 litres and 2 hours on 3 litres. Adding an extra battery belt gives you a total time of 10, 6 and 5 hours respectively. It weighs 2 kg (4.4lbs). Because it is relatively lightweight you carry it over your shoulder, though I had a backpack specially made to fit mine.
I've never taken it on an aircraft, but I believe they are accepted.
Apologies again for taking so long to reply. I hope this is useful.
That's ok jabber I'm going slow on both buying and the other biggie insurance we used to love our Spanish holidays for the sun sea and a good book

Even Saga and Staysure decline me but try Allclear who I found very helpful and not at all expensive.
