Has anyone recommendations for travel insurance, single trip please? I have bronchiectasis and paroxysmal AF! Wishing to travel to Cyprus in January! Quotes seem so expensive! Thanks in advance.

we got insurance with Allclear for our cruise with our heart conditions & my husbands pulmonary Fibrosis. They have been very helpful.
I also recommend All Clear, with the caveat that I've never actually needed to claim, so dont know how easy / difficult that might be.
hi i have just done a single trip quote for 7days in norway and that was £435 with saga as over 50s
I used All Clear for a 30 day trip to Europe this summer- didn’t have to claim fortunately, so don’t know what they’re like in that respect, but the quote was very reasonable and only a few pounds more than my healthy partner’s for annual insurance.
Thank you Firefly25 - another personal recommendation for All Clear, definitely worth pursuing.
I am 42, and have Bronchiectasis and Cystic Fribrosis and went to Italy for a week recently.
I went with payingtoomuch.com/
It was £35 for the week.
I'm considering getting a Nationwide Flexplus account (£13pm) which has worldwide travel insurance included, but there's likely to be a premium for some existing conditions. If the extra is not a huge amount I'll go for that. My parents have used them for a few years.
That sounds very reasonable Guy_Incognito, I'll give them a call too. However, you are 42 and I am 74 so that may well make a difference but still worth pursuing.
I was insured through Nationwide Flexplus and paid extra for pre-existing conditions. However, they don't insure over 70's so no good for me now.
I just opened an account to get travel insurance through Nationwide Flexplus but they don't cover CF
I'll just cancel the account now.
Sorry to hear that Guy_Incognito! We’re trying with Nationwide Flexplus at the moment as just seen they do cover over 70’s for £65 for the account! They don’t make it easy to get a quote though so they are phoning us on Friday to discuss! If it’s a no go not sure where we’ll go from there! It’s a minefield!
Dear Pap. Hope you find what you are looking for. With Insurance the only time you know if you have what you hope you paid for is when you need it. All i can say from experience, I've used Saga. Not the cheapest as long as you answered the disclosures honestly, no problems at all.
I agree Tryfan - I was taken quite ill whilst in Vietnam and ended up in hospital for 3 weeks with pneumonia! I was insured through Aviva with Nationwide. They did deal with it in the end, and all was good.
I have claimed from Saga twice with no problems.
