Thanks, hufferpuffer, jessy 11 & Toci, when first diagnosed I could not believe it, I have always been fit, played rugby, running, cycling and walking I thought it was all over but now as long as I take my medication and don't do anything stupid I am fine.

Take care☺

Trevor

Are you still using the salt pipe and if so do you think it still helps?

Hi Dedalus , no stopped using it when prescribed with carbocistine, but before getting medication it helped a lot, thinned mucus so I could expel it easier, I don't know what I would have done without it.

hi, i had my 1st exasperation 2wk ago n i'm still breathless. It hit me like a train as no-one told me copd would try n kill me !! Ive only just came on to this site and feel a lot better for finding peoples ways of coping. I made my wife howl when i woke this mornin' and swallowed a spireva cap and tried to put an omeprazole cap into the inhaler !! Pretty confused at the time !!! Carry on feelin' well my friend, days like those are priceless.
