Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have been given Oramorph and it has helped me so much. Without the members of this site, I don't know where I'd be. I cannot express my thanks enough to you all for the good advice and support I've received. You're worth a room full of doctors d COPD nurses!

Thank you.

Joan xx

So glad you've been helped by getting the oramorph.

My husband still hasn't got it as they're now going to do a kidney function test as he's had kidney stones. Not sure what the connection is but assume it's for the best. That's happening next week so we'll see.

Best wishes

Corin

Good news. So glad its helping. How much have you been prescribed, and will it be permanent? x

Hi, I've been prescribed 5ml every four hours if needed. I took 5ml the first night and had a great night's sleep without waking breathless. However this is too strong a dose for me so I've cut it down to half that and only at night or if I start to get breathless. It is a life saver and has relieved me of so much worry about coughing and what follows. Just wish they had offered it to me sooner. I will ring up when I need a repeat script, there were no questions asked of me this time.

Good luck to you. xxx
