Hi Brown,
I'm finding this interesting as very keen on salt therapy. I have used the Salt Caves in the past with good effect on the mucus and currently use saline nebulisers

Hi btown keep on reporting .
Very interested in how you get on. Can I ask a couple of questions ?
How long do you have to inhale and exhale for when using the
Salt pipe and
How many times a day ?
Thanks Andy
I'm following with much interest x
It is interesting to know how you are getting along. Good luck.
Please don't stop posting - I'm very interested, as thinking of getting a salt pipe myself.
That's good news btown....keep us posted.
No not getting tedious - I am going to copy them and show them to my husband. He only used the salt pipe for a week if that - didn't like the taste it left in his mouth. So glad it is working for you. Long may it continue. TAD x
Very interesting so keep posting please. I've used one and it did help a little. X
It's very interesting, as you know I use a salt pipe and I'm reliving my first dealings with the salt pipe through your posts. Keep posting I for one am reading with a smile on my face that says yes your right just keep using it.
Best Wishes

btown , not tedious at all! We need to share our problems and find solution.
I did use a salt pipe, but I was too ill to benefit from it. I live by the sea -Thames Estuary. This is a special area which grows a special alga. It doesn't turn you green! It helps you breathing better. They say that people who come here loses their asthma. Peter Cushing came here for his wife who was chesty.
My solution is exercises. I have great faith in them, because I get ill so often and they are a good pick-me-up.
You could ask your consultant/GP to refer you to Pulmonary Rehab. This is a six weeks session to motivate you. Your abilities to breathe gets assessed, you participate in a set of exercises with others affected by lung disease. The nurses and physiotherapist explain everything about lung disease, drugs, how to cope with shortness of breath, and it's a good time spent together with others.
Please, we'd like to know how you progress with the salt pipe.
Hi there......not at all tedious......please keep the info coming.
We can all learn something new......and who knows if not suitable now then perhaps for use in the future.......
