Hi Becraftygirl.Maybe you are breathing through your mouth too much, try breathing through your nose.Bengunn.xx

It could be a side effect from your inhalers - do you rinse your mouth after using them? It might be a good idea to talk to your doctor - there maybe other inhalers that would suit you better. Take care, TAD xxx

No change from your similar post two months ago then. There was some good advice then.

Did you speak to your health professionals about it?

Re oxygen, it's because a lot of people on oxygen get dry mouths.

Good luck. P

Good advice on here as usual!

It always pays to gargle and spit after using inhalers and keep a small bottle of water with you and have a sip occasionally but don't drink tooooo much or you'll fall foul of the First Rule on Old Age :- if you pass a toilet use it cos you don't know where the next one will be!! Hee hee

Hi I mentioned this to my gp and was given some SST tabs, Siliva stimulating tabs, only very tiny, taste like bitter lemons, but do the trick and unlike sucking a large sweet, easy to pop in your mouth, when needed.x

My mouth becomes very dry when I'm breathless but inhalers do make you feel dry as well

I also get a very dry mouth. When it results in my mouth getting sore I rinse with salt water. Suggested by GP after I tried variety of meds to help. It really does help!

Have you been to the doctors yet? Excessive thirst can mean diabetes so you really need to have a check up - hope you have . P x
