Not sure what he wants, but if he wants to replace this inhaler ( I believe there is a major shortage) whats the best replacement inhaler ? I have read on here about Seebree....Would you recommend that one, Or a new one I have read about called Novartis 'Ultibro breezhaler' Can anyone advise me

Many thanks Sohara

Thanks Sadie and Longlungs

I use the handihaler Longlungs...they are tablets that contain powder and you pierce in the handihaler.

That s good news Sadie...its been over a week now for me, so hopefully my chemist will get supplies through soon

Hope it's all back to normal in a week or so, I rely on mine (same as yours, handihaler) so much, don't know if I could manage without it. Fingers crossed! Sadie xx

Ditto Sadie I mucked my repeat up once and thought and hoped my chemist would help out,but its not considered an emergency so no help!!went into melt down not pretty, fortunately only had to wait aday and although the red arrow had gone past the finish there were still a few puffs left in it so that was good to find out.I felt abit like a junkie must feel like.Oh dear what are we like but ventolin and serevent is not enough for the widening of my tubes especially first thing they need all the help they can get Im afraid. Im sure deliveries will be back to normal soon. :) Janexx

There is no shortage in my area, doctor and pharmacist have not been notified there is a problem.

Maybe a post code thing.

Thanks for the latest on spirava everyone, it does seem to be a bit to do with where we live when it comes to delays. I have a spare one so won't know about any problems until I see GP on the 17th, fingers crossed.

Hi juliekkay is that a capsule or mist puffer? Janexx

in reply to longlungs

Hi Jane .... it's a mist puffer ... some of the powder is left in mouth but enough goes in to mae a better difference for me than spiriva was doing. x
