Well once back from hospital Ireally thought that give it a few days and all would be good again! Monday David was burning up delirious halucinating he looked like he was dying! He was crying and in a terrible state.I can remember thinking 'oh god Jane what now '?He Hadnt taken his meds so i made a drink for us both and sat down already feeling exhausted I knew when my lungs warmed up I would improve some.He should've had food first but there was no way he could eat just yet,I started to count the minutes willing them to help him, needed to get his temp down!Fortunately after an hour he started to improve :) First thing he said was " will my foot have to be cut off mum im really ill !" Well I choked on my coffee and fell about laughing bless him."they might you never can tell!especially if you dont take your meds!!!" Men what are they like ! Well the day passed he wasnt well but we needed to give the antibiotics chance to work? I was a little concerned coz the redness was still moving but not in the right direction so kept marking daily where it was.Wednesday still no improvement I had smokey nurse appt and wondered if someone could look at Davids foot and reassure us really ?Would be easier than the hospital etc.The computer say yeaa good game ,result!

Couldnt get a cab for two hours appt one hour ooops now what? Aha I wondered if my Gertie could manage us both it wasnt miles, given how David was he couldnt have done it on his crutches! I checked gerties details she could handle 25 stone so that was cool! now just how would we both fit?? We pushed both arms up and turned the seat to the side David sat in the chair and managed to hook his leg on the bumper and balance poorly foot sideways on top of good leg I then stood with one leg on the side edges coz when you stand in the middle she dips a little. :( We switched her on put her on low speed and we shunted forward slowly but surely :) So we got ready I took gertie down the ramp David hopped down, then we boarded,Im sure I heard gertie sigh as she felt the extra weight!! well I tried to fine the smoothest pavements so less bumps and trauma to both gertie and David ,not far now as we turned the corner there was the docs building. We made it. :) I swear i could hear gertie huffing and puffing saying 'thank ---- for that phewww!' When the receptionist saw us she exclaimed "you didnt both come on gertie omg hahaha" Yes they all know gertie bless her. Davids girlfriend called to say dont forget your allergic to penicillin !!! WHAT??? "oh yes I forgot mum do you remember the last time i hurt my foot well I couldnt breathe and rushed to A&E they said it was the penicillin forgot to tell you!! OMG not something to be forgetting eh? That explained everything I then realised i could have killed him Jeez omg, omg!! With A new prescription and orders to go back to hospital if it doesnt improve. As we approached Gertie I heard her say 'I wish I was Herbi I could do a runner' :) Bless her little heart we slowly poodled home all safe and sound I promised her I'd never put her under that stress again, then congratulated her for being such a good nee-naw. :) Its now sunday he still cant put his foot to the floor and struggling with the pain??? :(.Back to hosp tomorrow I think. bye for now :) Janexx
