My husband uses Spiriva once a day in a handihaler - having spoken to the nurse it is apparently only ever to be used once a day and it opens the airways for 24 hours. Have no information on the other inhaler. TAD xx
They are both long-acting muscarinic antagonists (LAMA) and I don't think there is much between them. You can read more here -

I was using Spiriva but didn't find it all that good my gp switched me to Seebreeze and I find that better for me. I have moderate copd.
Hi, I had Spiriva , I could finally BREATH , unfortunately I started itching & got a sore/ dry nose so had to come off it( its a powder & it eventually irritated me) . I am using ipratropium it's not got a very nice taste & I have to use it 3/4 times a day ...not heard of sea breeze .is sea breeze ok ? :sue
Hi ,Sue,
I have the script for the Seebri breeze haler, but waiting until I finish the Spiriva, Just saw on this site that someone used Seebri, and I have been on the Spiriva for 5 years with no real improvement, so asked my GP he was quite willing that I give it a try, even though he had never heard of it, So worth a try, Will let you know what reaction I get, ! Hopefully good, Heather.
Hi Batbara, I used it for about 2 months, then went back on Spiriva, as it was not helping any, but that just could have been with my condition getting worse, as the Spiriva now does not seem to have much of a effect.
