Hi, my GP is suggesting I switch from Breo for my asthma to Trelegy, due to difficulties lately with controlling flare ups. Has anyone used either or both for their asthma?
Thank you 🙏🏻

My consultant suggested a triple inhaler to replace my LABA (Symbicort) & LAMA (Eklira Genuair) inhalers but I declined. Trouble was, that meant I couldn't take extra Symbicort when required as the triple inhaler can't exceed the prescribed daily dose because it contains the LAMA element.
You could ask to try out the LAMA inhaler as an add on to your Breo if you think you can stick to taking two inhalers regularly. Most folk start with Spiriva.
Or you could try a different combination inhaler from Breo to see if that helps first. We all suit different inhalers and it takes trial and error to find the most effective one. I'm now on Fostair and it's far superior to Symbicort, but that's just me.
Hiya Moon-calmI find Trelegy brilliant I have used it for about 4years
A real game changer
Good luck with it!
