Recurring cough with more steroids

For the past 3 months iv been prescribed antibiotics and steroids as I keep getting coughs that are phlegmy which causes me to not be able to breath, wheezing, chest pains when taking deep breaths and very tired. Just waiting on chest X-ray results, I’m a known asthmatic but I’m starting to think I might have COPD I’m 34 and fit and healthy ( I thought) does anyone have or suffering the same as me, I’m going crazy waiting for my results.

Hi from another aussie lass Severe asthma can do similar damage to copd over time. It happened to me. Not sure if thats helpful or discouraging

Also I was a state team figure skater. Competed at nationals two years running and played tennis and did martial arts when I was younger despite doctors all predicting my demise.

I have the same problem, since last June. They did give me clenil modulate 100 from last August which did nothing. Although they only finally diagnosed asthma this year. I have been told to drink plenty of non caffeinated fluids which has thinned the mucus. I've also been told to breathe deep into the bottom of my lungs every couple of hours to move mucus from the bottom of my lungs. I finished more steroids yesterday and am hoping and waiting to see if I don't get any more asthma attacks.
