Hi, I was started on the Relvar 184/22 about a year ago. It took about three months for my system to adjust to it, and technique is VERY important to make sure you get the powder right down into your lungs!!! Make sure you take a full, deep breath( quickly at the start of the breath, then just keep going till your lungs are full), hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breath out nice and gently. Remember to swill/rinse your mouth out thoroughly with water after and gargle if you can to wash the back of your throat. I have found it to be very good, but I know everyone is different! Good luck and stay well.😊

Thank you. Do you breathe air out with your mouth or nose? I never know that.

Thanks again for the good advice. I did as you wrote and I can't feel the powder in my mouth. Earlier I felt. Can I also drink water after rinsing my mouth and throat?.

Yes, you can drink something after rinsing out.

It doesn't really matter, as long as it's nice and slow and gentle. I also forgot to say that it really helps if, just before you inhale the powder, you breathe every bit of air you can OUT of your lungs( but don't do this near the mouthpiece of the inhaler!!). Makes more room for the medicine.
