Side effects of Relvar Ellipta?

Hi,

I have been on Relvar Ellipta for, I think, four years now. It works well to control my asthma, but I wonder if anybody has got any side effects from this medicine? Apart from asthma, I have problems with a heart valve (Mitral), and I am hormone treatment for prostate cancer, and also I take Budesonide spray for nasal polyps. Lately I have not been feeling well. I know the side effects from the hormonal treatment, but this is different. Can it be the Relvar Ellipta? Has anybody any thoughts of this, longterm use of this asthma medicine?

Grateful for any points of view.

Hi,

You "don't feel well" I have two heart valve problems, Mitral and Aorta - Bladder Cancer and other heart problems.

You could feel unwell worrying about your ailments, I have done that.

Here is a list of side effect for Relvar - Tick you are a patient to be able to see them.

Could your have problems from your hormone treatment, worth asking doctor.

I have BCG Treatment for my Bladder cancer, I tolerate it well. many don't

Good luck, could be your Relvar but check everything.

Hi Ern 007,

Thanks for your reply. I think you could be right in assuming worries of all my medical problems has something to do with feeling unwell. I read the list of possible side effects. Some of them seems familiar to me, but as I am on a number of medications, it is hard to pinpoint which one causes a particular side effect. One way to find out would be to stop taking one for a while and see what happens. But that of course is not something to recommend. As I have four different doctors for my ailments, I think it would be hard to get a correct answer from any of them, as they would most likely say that my problems comes from somebody else's prescription. Perhaps I worry too much and that this is my current problem. I will soldier on and hope for a sunny day.
