I thought I had a spare canister but just found out I have run out. Since it is Easter bank holiday I am hoping I will be able to manage until I get a prescription on Monday. Previously when I was on becotide I usually stopped taking it about this time but due to covid I have been taking it regularly. Not prescribed ventolin now but still got an inhaler. Guess I could use it for back up if necessary. I suffer from seasonal well controlled mild asthma. Can anybody relate pl? Thanks

you could ask your local pharmacy where you get your script to lend you one till monday.
Phone 111 and a GP should be able to prescribe and get the prescription sent to a pharmacy. It will be at least Tuesday otherwise as Monday is also a bank holiday (in England anyway). You need to be taking your preventer consistently for your asthma - not doing so is more of a risk to asthma than covid as that's not what inhalers are for.
I am able on my Patient Access to get an emergency prescription should this happen, so if you have an online account you should be able to get an emergency prescription. You could try 111 for their advise, or even call at your nearest chemists, you should not be expected to go without your medication as asthma is not to messed withGood Luck
Its a normal day tomorrow Saturday so nip to your dispensing chemist and ask them if you can have an emergency one to be taken off your next prescription. P
Phone 111 and speak to them, I had to do it for my daughter once and I got a prescription sent the same day to the chemist of my choice
