Fostair nexthaler or Becotide!
I am thinking whether I should ask to go back to
becotide
and used ventolin as required. Those who have used both which one is more effective and less likely to cause side effects in the long run.!Thanks

Symbicort Nasal and Chest Congestion issues?
I don’t feel like this on
Becotide
so it must be the LABA? I’m starting to link my symptoms to Symbicort. Anyone else have a similar experience with Symbicort? I suppose the easiest at this point is to add a LAMA to my ICS... Thanks, Con.

Questioning the value of a follow up and a battery of tests
I’m doing ok, happy to have made progress recently with Singulair and an old favourite
Becotide
after a medication hiatus. I can run 5k and walk 5k every second day and don’t suffer with exacerbations.

Should I reduce or stop my running? - low peak flow and low oximetry readings recently & after running
When I have seen an asthma nurse they tell me to double my inhalors but if I take more than four puffs of
becotide
a day I seem to always get a really bad sore throat so I am influenced by this to not take more.

Anybody suffers from seasonal asthma and use inhaler on demand?
I remembered at my annual review I agree to change from
becotide
to nexthaler as the asthma specialist told me I can take it on demand. If this is not the case and my mum is right I do not want to take a combi inhaler all the time and will ask to be put back on
becotide
and ventolin.

Have run out of fostair nexthaler 100/6
Previously when I was on
becotide
I usually stopped taking it about this time but due to covid I have been taking it regularly. Not prescribed ventolin now but still got an inhaler. Guess I could use it for back up if necessary. I suffer from seasonal well controlled mild asthma.

Fostair nexthaler 100/6 one puff twice a day
Usually I stop taking the inhaler was previously on
becotide
and ventolin in the summer. Due to covid 19 I did not stop and continue to take it. I agree to change to fostair nexthaler as he gave me the impression it could be taken on demand.

Recent weather affecting asthma/
I also take my brown clenil /
becotide
during the winter months as a precaution but tend to stop over the summer months as I dont need it. However, over the last few weeks my breathing has got significantly worse, and I am needing my reliever inhaler throuhgout the day, nearly every 2-3 hrs.

Smart regimen fostair nexthaler
Before I use to take
becotide
twice a day and ventolin as required. I very rarely use the ventolin. It does help as am a smoker with no intention of quitting. The asthma is mild. Just need some advice whether I should stop due to sorehroat.

Fostair
For years and years, probably just after launch in 1998, I was transferred from
Becotide
to Seretide. My asthma nurse has changed me to Fostair, saying it's very good, the particles are smaller and the majority that have gone on to Fostair have been really pleased with the results.

I am suffering shortness of breath and abdominal bloating
For now they’ve upped by
Becotide
which keeps delaying any further action till I’ve given it a fair trial. Would you keep going back? Would an X-ray show anything metastatic does anyone know? Sorry so many questions, it’s been a fair while since I’ve worried about anything spreading.

Inhalars Becotide and Salamol
I'm currently using the brown inhaler (
Becotide
) and the blue inhaler (Salamol) but recently they do not seem to be controlling my asthma too well. What inhalers would be slightly stronger and help control my asthma a bit better, from your experiences. Thanks in advance Regards Steve

Badly controlled asthma help?
First he gave me a 5 day course of Prednisolone and put me on
Becotide
250. This did not shift it and I swapped to Seretide 250.

Preventers make it harder for me to breathe. Does this happen to anyone else?
Three times I have tried preventers but had to stop -
becotide
twice and seretide once. Each time I had the same symptoms. I am relating these symptoms how I see them in my mind. I have no idea what is happening in my lungs - just my symptoms. During these times I also took ventolin.

Time between inhalations
When I was a lad & first got an inhaler (Intal), & through my time on Ventolin,
Becotide
, etc, I was always told to leave 2 minutes. This apparently was to give my lungs a rest between doses & allow the medicine to absorb.
