Asthma

I had a very bad cold recently and it left me with with rather a lot of chest phlehm. Funnily enough my asthma did not get any worse. However to expel the phlegm I took two nebulisers a day of Ipramol and I find that my asthma has improved immensely. I was taking the Relvar every day(which I still do) but instead of taking the Atrovent inhaler which I could be taking 6-8 puffs a day, I take two nebules. Does this seem weird to anyone. I feel so much better in myself and my anxiety has diminished quite a bit. I don't have to be worrying about getting breathless walking cos the nebule lasts me for 12 hours. I also take heather honey, lemon and ginger which I find is amazing. I had an awful high temperature of 38.8 for two days but found that taking the honey lemon and ginger drink,I got better so much quicker than taking antibiotics and getting a stomach ache. Sometimes natural remedies are better

That's a lot of nebs. You really need to see your doctor or call the asthma nurse to get the best advice.

Hi I only take 2 nebules a day but I can take 4 but I don't need to take 4. It's only since I have this dose of cold or flu. I was at my chest consultant 2 weeks ago and he was very happy with my chest, how clear it was. I think maybe you read my message wrong. I would only take nebs when and if needed as a last resort but all I am saying that because I was so bad last few days the 2 nebules a day as opposed to 8 puffs of Atrovent has been the easier option.

Thanks for your comment Chrissiemons
