looks like i will be going back to the Drs tomorrow, feel really weird on this inhaler! It's such a low dose and i have only been on it for about 3 days but i feel so anxious, dizzy, shaky, nervous and nauseous... i also feel daft posting on here because i feel you guys are dealing with so much more than me and i am making a right fuss!

You have come to the right place, and we all need that support sometimes. I am also much less seriously asthmatic than some on here, but have my moments. So, don’t hesitate to ask. It is quite a learning curve both about the condition and about yourself with this condition. Believe me, I know! Anyway, I used to be on Clenil, but I didn’t have your difficulties, so I can’t help you there. I am sure someone will. What is crystal clear is that what suits one person may not suit the next at all, so if you feel weird you are doing the right thing to go back and discuss with your gp. You can also talk to one of the Asthma U.K. nurses, phone number on the Asthma U.K. website. They are excellent.

i think i will give them a call later, i feel a bit better today. Maybe i am just getting used to it or may be its a whole new day and I am busy so i know my mind will be on other things! 😊

These are common side effects with corticosteroid inhalers - I would give it a week or so, as long as it doesn't effect your breathing. I can't take Clenil because I seem to react to the aerosol but you might just be getting the side effects which will hopefully wear off.

thank you. The nurse just prescribed it and although you read the leaflet not everything seems to be on there and you just need real people who are accidental experts on the topic to guide you. Have felt much better today.

You are not alone andreak, I have been taking Clenil 2 puffs morning and evening for 2 weeks and have been feeling awful. Dizzy spells, nervousness, really lethargic and brain fog. If anything it also made my Asthma worse. Have stopped taking now for 48 hours and starting to feel a bit more normal again.

oh no. Mine has completely settled now thank goodness. I stuck with it and after a couple of weeks i realised i felt ok. Feel so much better now though. I went for a check up and my peak flow has gone from 400 up to 460, so we are going in the right direction. I am glad i stuck with it but if it doesn't feel right, then go back and check.
