Disappointing..

Hospital appointment was a total disaster. They had lost or erased my scanner CD so Dr. Lazor was unable to give an opinion on the LAM. I could see nobody had read my file.

The young intern was more concerned with my post nasal drip. I said I had had an endoscopy that I had no polyps and was diagnosed with perannual rhinitis years ago.

I complained that I had waited 3 months for that appointment so the least was to be prepared.

So I left without any diagnostic.

Dr. Petitpierre my local specialist has resent it and I asked for a copy as well. I told them I am leaving for the summer holidays on the 21st so they should get in touch with my doctor give him the report.

I may try the Lyons hospital for a second opinion. It's not too far. They are a center for cystic pneumopathy as well. I mean I need to get to the bottom of this and get the adequate treatment. I must say the 3 x2 seretide 250 a day and the atrovent have kept infections at bay.

Wishing you all well xx

Fran

Hi Fran, I was thinking of you yesterday and was going to drop you a message to see how you were getting on! I'm pleased that the meds are at least keeping the infections away so that's a positive in all this. Hopefully they'll sort out the scan and maybe then your diagnosis and treatment can start in earnest,

Take care of yourself - Stacey ❤️ X
